AVK Plast A/S is a new company consisting of the former Micotron A/S in Sønderborg and Ripladan A/S in Ribe.

For many years, Micotron has had a strong market position owing to many quality-oriented and well-known customers manufacturing design and technical products. throughOUT recent years, the company has been modernised and introduced an increased level of automation throughout the factory.

Similarly, Ripladan has experienced a positive development, and several new products have been introduced in the key segments including furniture, white goods and industrial products among other things.

Both companies have  their own strengths and there are considerable synergies from a merger of the two. the companies are only in very limited competition on the customer side and at the same time, the moulding machines installed in the two factories are highly complementary which gives the possibility of offering our customers a much wider range of products than before.

For both companies, the merger means a doubling of their turnover and in total there will be 50 employees in AVK Plast A/S. Technologically, AVK Plast A/S can offer plastic moulding in the range of 30 – 1,800 tonnes, covering a product weight of up to 17 kg. The company has its headoffice in ribe.

Our employees are the reason why both companies, that are now combined into AVK Plast A/S, have achieved the position they have, and in the future, we will take advantage of their combined competencies in order to achiece an optimum result. There will definitely be some changes, but we will continue to have both Micotron and Ripladan as secondary names, and we already have indications from customers that the merger paves the way for an increased co-operation in the future.
